IMG_20131221_122059-1-1-1In life, we have so many things that we are afraid of. Some fear height while others cringe at the thought of public speaking. But the common factor is that we all have one thing that we are afraid of. Now the question is, how do we overcome fear?

Acknowledge your fear- The most common thing for most of us is when we face fear we tend to suppress the feeling or pretend like it is not there. this act alone makes us even more afraid . Fear feeds on suppression. But when you acknowledge your fear it means you recognize that it is there.

Ask yourself this question, what is this fear here to teach me? I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason. Hence, there is a reason why that fear comes upon you when you are about to do something

Act: This is usually my favorite part- I love to plunge directly into that same thing I’m afraid of doing. Fear has so much POWER. You can chose to allow the power to weaken or strengthen you.

Are you someone who worries about being afraid? The good news is most successful people, who you probably admire were afraid at some point in their lives but they used that fear as a propelling force to do what they were afraid of doing.
