Sometimes maintaining a happy mindset might be challenging. I have been there myself so I know how frustrating it could be. But should you allow the frustration get to you? The answer is No.

During difficult periods in my life, I found these tips below very helpful and I know it will help you too. You can thank me later ūüôā

Be¬†grateful:¬†Sometimes our quest for accomplishing big things diminishes our ability to appreciate the simplest things in Life.¬†Be grateful for what you have accomplished so far. Even when you don’t feel fulfilled, be grateful for the simplest things in life.

It’s very simple, being grateful opens the heart to see more possibilities.¬†You may not be where you want to be but I’m sure if you look back you would realize that you aren’t the same place you where when you started..Appreciate your growth !!

Maintain a Positive Mindset: If you don’t watch Saturday Night Live (SNL), there is character named Debbie Downer. She is the quintessential for negativity.

I watched a scene in the show, where the cast members were celebrating a member’s birthday party. And as usual, there was so much joy in the air, everyone was happy and laughing. Guess what? Debbie Downer says the most ridiculous and negative comment “I wish they could release the hostage in the Iraq” ¬†What?? Everyone looked at her with a “how dare she say that at a fun gathering?” face, LOL.

The point is: No matter how smart or beautiful you are, no one wants to be around a Debbie Downer. So the next time you start acting like one, think twice!!

Have a Plan: Do you have a plan? If you do, what is it? If you don’t, create a plan. After creating your plan, write it down. While it’s important to have a plan, it is more important to write it down.

Have you noticed that there is “that someone” you work it that you think she/he has it all? And you get jealous?

Well here is why it is important you have and write your plan. It reminds you that you are also heading somewhere very important, and that you will have it all some day. (Yes I’m one of those that believe you can have it all, well maybe not at the same time).
